Hello,
Compulsive gambling is a progressive illness that affects many people, their families, and loved ones every day.  Experience has shown that the illness can be controlled by stopping gambling and taking part in therapy or support groups such as Gamblers Anonymous.

As an experienced clinical hypnotherapist and advanced integrated energy therapist, I recommend the addition of guided relaxation meditations as adjunctive therapy to help take away the urge to gamble.  You can read about how this works below...

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  What are the benefits of Guided Relaxation Meditations for Gambling Problems?
A. Relaxation (it feels good)
B. Reprogramming your mind to make you want to stop gambling
C. Harnessing the power of your subconscious
D. As you relax the frustration, anger and despair are diminished
E. You will be able to think more clearly
F. Better and more restful sleep
G. Self Confidence
H. A healthier body because you will be more rested and relaxed

2.  Are Guided Meditations hard to use?
Guided meditations are very easy to use.  You simply sit or lie in a comfortable position, close your eyes and listen.  While you listen the beat of the music begins to stimulate alpha brain wave activity and the gentle easy to follow instructions help you to relax your body and mind.  Even if you have never meditated before you will find yourself more rested and feeling more confident.  You cannot fail.

3.  How does it work?
Each guided meditation is specially formulated by Wil Langford, an experienced clinical hypnotherapist, integrated energy therapist, author and expert on parts consciousness and the human mind and spirit.  When you relax and follow the simple instructions, your subconscious mind, the part of your mind where your habits, urges and desires are stored, becomes more accessible.  Your conscious mind relaxes.  If you have a desire to stop gambling and live a happier life, then your subconscious will readily accept the suggestions and they will become your new habits and desires.

Because the desires of the subconscious are 20 times stronger than the conscious mind, it will be easier to stop gambling and regain your life.  You will have a very strong desire to be a non gambler and the desire to gamble will begin to lose its power.

4.  How many times must I listen to the guided meditations?
Each meditation is approximately 36 minutes long.  The actual spoken part is only about 20 minutes.  The rest is gentle music and you may continue to listen to that music while the suggestions become firmly rooted in your mind and the synaptic loops of your brain are rewired.
I recommend that you listen at lest once a day for the first week and then 3-4 times a week or as often as you fell you need to listen after that.

5. Will these guided meditations cure my problem gambling?
Unfortunately, no.  To the best of my knowledge there is no cure for compulsive gambling.  It is a progressive illness and there is now cure.  However, you can control it and many millions of people do just that every day.

6.  Is there anything else I need to do to stop gambling?
The first and foremost thing you need to do is to stop going to places where there is gambling.  Anything that you associate with gambling should be avoided as much as possible.  Secondly and very importantly, experience has shown that support groups such as the meetings at Gamblers Anonymous are very helpful.  Private counseling or therapy is also useful.  Combining the twelve step program at GA along with the guided meditation "The 13th Step," is very effective treatment.

7.  What if I have other questions?
Your success is absolutely my top priority.  Therefore, if you have any questions feel free to email me and I will personally answer your email.
